PEGASUS LUNCHEON
Organizing any type of event is enjoyable, particularly hosting a luncheon to discuss future partnerships. That’s exactly what the Wedding & MICE division of PMG Hotels & Resort did. On Saturday, February 10th, 2024, Pegasus Travel Indonesia joined us for drinks and lunch at Hitana Restaurant in Bali Niksoma Boutique Beach Resorts. Pegasus travel agency caters to the Russian market and CIS countries. Their services range from spa, ticketing, transport, snorkelling & diving, and wedding & photo session.
Victoria, guide to eight travel agent ladies present, is happily conversing with me. Answering my question as to which part of Russia they are from she replies, ‘From St Petersburg and as far away as Kazakhstan’. Never been to Russia but on the map looks expansive. I am looking forward to putting a few questions, but few speak English. And listening to them talk in Russian is captivating. Like ladies enjoying themselves anywhere. The atmosphere was vibrant with conversation and laughter!

Lunch begins with delightful appetizers featuring sautéed Portabella mushrooms, soy duck breast, seafood chowder, and seafood cannelloni & scallop gratin. After clearing our appetizer plates, the main course arrives with a selection of blue cheese-topped beef tenderloin, mahi-mahi steak, roasted duck breast, and cream cheese & mushroom stuffed chicken.
And desserts? Absolutely mouthwatering…chocolate lava, tiramisu, crème caramel and crispy fried banana. Chef Sumada outdid himself this time round.
Now, turning to more pressing topics. Victoria is sharing that in Russia, individuals tend to finalize their travel plans just one day before departure due to the constantly shifting political landscape. So different from people that have the safety of booking months in advance. Aside from serious matters the ladies were enchanted by their first visit to Bali, particularly impressed by the old-world charm, spacious rooms, and cleanliness of Bali Niksoma. As we enjoy our desserts, a discussion about PMG’s hotels ensues, offering insights into their history.
After a truly delightful lunch, and before returning to their hotel, photo taking is a must.
Thank you, Ladies, for a wonderful first meeting. We are eagerly anticipating to an enduring partnership ahead.
